Your First Visit at Clarity Springs: Comprehensive Evaluation (Always)
For us care starts with a full assessment, this is the foundation for an accurate plan.During your evaluation, we typically review:
current symptoms and what’s been getting in the waymental health and medical historysleep, energy, concentration, and stress patternswhat you’ve already tried (and what helped or didn’t)your goals for care
Treatment is never “one-size-fits-all.” Recommendations are based on your evaluation and what is clinically appropriate—not on assumptions or requests alone.
After the Evaluation: Deciding the Right Next Step
After your evaluation, we choose the best path forward together:
Option A: Talk Therapy Is EnoughIf therapy alone fits your situation, we create a clear plan—what you’ll work on, how often you’ll meet, and how progress will be measured.
Option B: Medication May Be HelpfulIf medication is appropriate, it is discussed as part of a broader plan—not as a default. The goal is to support your functioning and well‑being with the least amount of intervention needed.
Option C: Combined PlanFor some people, therapy + medication together provides the best outcome—especially when symptoms affect sleep, work, relationships, or daily functioning.

Our goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic experience. This will allow us to achieve your goals toward healing and change. Together, we will work on reducing any negative symptoms you may be experiencing, implementing positive skills, and building upon your preexisting strengths to allow for personal growth and development.

Clarity Springs offers ADHD, depression and anxiety treatment from a trusted psychiatric nurse practitioner near Phoenix, AZ (in Scottsdale) or via telehealth online among other services

The help of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners is often grossly underestimated. Yet in many situations, their support is essential. As a PMHNP-BC, Uddy will help you understand what you’re going through, develop a plan to cope with your challenges, and, when appropriate, choose and manage the right medication for your needs.

Mental health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.
